Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Use and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

You must be old enough to form a binding agreement in your place of residence, or use the app under the supervision of a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms, and you must comply with the App Store's age requirements.

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your own lawful purposes, in accordance with these terms and the App Store terms.

You own the photos, videos, files, and notes you store in the app. We claim no rights to your content, and — because the app is local-first with no developer content server — we do not receive it. You are responsible for having the right to store the content you import.

• Keep your device passcode, vault code, and recovery key confidential.
• Export and verify important content before deleting originals or uninstalling the app.
• Maintain your own backups of exported content.
• Use current versions of iOS and the app for the latest fixes and protections.

You may not:

• Use the app to store or conceal content that is unlawful for you to possess, or to further unlawful activity.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the app's source code except where the law permits.
• Circumvent security, entitlement, or attempt-limiting mechanisms.
• Resell, rent, or redistribute the app or access to it.

The app stores your vault locally on your device. At launch there is no account, cloud backup, or cross-device sync. Deleting the app, erasing the device, or losing the device can permanently destroy the vault. Export tools exist so you can maintain copies you control; using them is your responsibility.

The app generates a recovery key locally during setup and prompts you to save a copy. A biometric-protected copy may remain on this iPhone for viewing in Safety Center. NaviStack does not receive the key and cannot recreate it, reset it, bypass encryption, or open a vault. Recovery currently also requires iOS biometric authentication.

• Plans. Premium is offered as a weekly or annual auto-renewing subscription. Current pricing is always shown by Apple before you buy.
• Auto-renewal. Weekly and annual subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Billing. All purchases are billed to your Apple Account through Apple.
• Cancellation. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Restore Purchases. Use Restore Purchases inside the app (Safety Center → Membership) while signed into the Apple Account used for the original purchase.
• Trials. A free trial exists only when Apple displays one at purchase time; eligibility is determined by Apple.
• Refunds. Refund requests are handled by Apple under App Store policies.

If Premium ends, access to your existing content, recovery, selected and complete export, organization, and deletion remain available. Adding new items or folders requires an active Premium plan.

The app, website, wordmarks, and design are the property of NaviStack LLC or its licensors and are protected by law. These terms grant you no rights in them other than the license above.

We may update, change, or discontinue features over time, and updates may be required for continued use. We are not obligated to provide any particular feature indefinitely, but data-loss prevention and your ability to export remain design priorities.

The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any security measure is impenetrable.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NaviStack LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the app — including loss of vault content resulting from deletion of the app, device loss, forgotten codes, or lost recovery keys. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim, or the minimum permitted by law.

Where legally appropriate, you agree to indemnify NaviStack LLC against claims arising from your unlawful use of the app or your violation of these terms. This section does not apply where prohibited by consumer-protection law.

You may stop using the app at any time — export your content first. We may terminate or suspend the license if you materially breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits) survive termination.

Mandatory consumer protections and other applicable laws in your place of residence are not affected by these terms.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Where applicable, Apple's Standard EULA also applies to App Store purchases, and Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them.
