Getting started
- Set your vault code during the first-run setup
- Save the generated recovery key outside the phone
- Review Premium before adding your first content

Unlocking the vault
- Tap the visible Private Vault button
- Enter your vault code or use optional Face ID
- Repeated wrong codes trigger a temporary cooldown; the digits are never stored

Import & export
- Premium imports are copied, encrypted, and verified; originals stay untouched
- Interrupted import? Open Import Recovery to retry or discard
- Existing content remains exportable after Premium ends

Recovery
- Calculator Lock generates the recovery key during setup
- Save a copy outside the phone, such as in a password manager
- Recovery currently also requires iOS biometric authentication

Subscription & restore
- Manage or cancel through your Apple Account
- Restore Purchases lives in Safety Center → Membership
- If Premium ends, your content, recovery, and export remain

Privacy & permissions
- Photos and files come only through Apple's pickers
- Face ID results — never biometric data — reach the app
- No ads, tracking, or developer analytics

Deleting the app safely
- The vault lives only on this device; there is no cloud copy at launch
- Deleting the app can permanently remove the vault
- Run Complete Export and verify files before uninstalling
